Bought International round trip ticket from Chipoair.com and saw a note from Cheapoair on my computer screen to call if any error including name change. So I check right away to see any errors.

Found out one letter of first name was incorrect with X and S. I called and spoke 4 different agents from Cheapoair a

nd 3 way call with airline agent. Airline advised to go to one of their office to try showing passport to correct. However, Cheapoair was trying so heard to insist that they can no way correct Shrug the name but to 1.

cancel the purchased ticket, 2. buy back a new ticket, 3. to pay for almost triple amount than what was bought, 4. agent fees, 5.

the refund will be back to the card not right way but will take up to 7 days etc. just to sum up. But, what I tried to get help was to adjust the typo error on one letter of the first name. After 4 hours of costly international calls, they offered to cancel the ticket, wave $25 for cancellation fee, and I don't get same schedule or same cost flight to buy back.

It is unfortunate how many customers as me just type one letter incorrectly by mistake, to go through loosing the ticket and have to dealt this much. Should be able to adjust the typo error for customers instead . Mind you I a am a Premium customer of Cheapoair and using them for over ten years.

This is what happened to me. Shrug Shrug Shrug

I wouldn't deal with a company named like that out of general principle. I never buy any sort of ticket from anyone other than the original issuing authority.
