Tried to change a reservation

Cheapoair proposed a flight from Orlando to Rochester through Minneapolis on Delta. There were much more convenient flights for the same price. My partner, who is not from the US and was unaware of how inconvenient it was to go through Minneapolis to get to Rochester, accepted. When I saw the itinerary, we called to change it. We were told it would cost $200/ticket. The original tickets cost ~$240 each. We spoke with an agent and his supervisor, we've been on hold since. It's 62 minutes and counting. I am thoroughly dissatisfied with Cheapoair and will not use them again.

Travelex/Cheapo Air Insurance is a Fraud!

I purchased travel protection from Cheapo Air. I became ill the night before and they sent me a letter saying I had a pre existing condition before the trip! What a joke! I received no refund and lost $500 dollars, I will never use them again and tell everyone I know to stay away from Travelex Insurance! They also will not pick up their phone. I was on hold for 25min! STAY AWAY FROM TRAVELEX! I hope they read this review and realize its not fair to screw people out of their hard earned money on a hoax like this.

Airline Reservation Review

On making our airline reservation, my husband did not provide my maiden name. I noticed this because my maiden name is on my ID. I called cheapoair to change this within 24 hours. They charged me 50 dollars for a change fee!! Absolutely ridiculous!!

I can give birth in less than 8 hours

On May 24,2014 from noon until approximately 10:00 PM I was on the phone obtaining a vacation package through CheapOair.com. The person that I was working with transferred me to two of his co-workers because he was having issues with his computer??? After my request was submitted I learned that my credit card was declined! Of course I was furious by this time. I called my bank and learned they saw the large amounts appearing to be withdrawn from my account, they froze my account thinking it was fraudulent activity. I got back in touch with COC and told them to process the charges. They booked one room for my family instead of two. I had to call them back to correct their mistake. They spelled one of the family members name wrong on the airline ticket then wanted to charge $70.00 to fix their mistake. They advertise a discount that is never given. No one ever apologizes for the inconvenience they have caused you. I' d love it if just one of them can explain what takes 30-40 min. It is courteous to return to your customer and explain that you are still working on the problem. The correct thing to do is pass difficult problems to your supervisor. There are numerous people who are unemployed, the people I encountered really should join them. I've worked with the public for 40 plus years, I have NEVER had an experience in ONE day from ONE company that was soooo horrid! From customer service, competency, efficiency and lack of knowledge of their own products and procedures. Contacted hotel who had no idea who I was despite being given a confirmation #. When they finally cleared this issue the hotel had only received payment on only one room despite the money being taken from my account two days later. I've had to call this company back numerous times to make them correct their mistakes. They are incredibly unprofessional and inept. With Deep Regret, Barbra Trucker P.s. They SUCK!

Customer booked this herself online, not with an agent. She later called and wanted another room for one of the adults. 48 hours prior to departure called and wanted to cancel one of the adults, but was under cancellation penalty for the resort and no refund would be offered.

The most terrible thing happened to me, please never purchase a ticket with cheapoair. They made me cry four hours at the airport, charged my card and gave me void ticket. They changed my return time and I had to buy a new ticket. They are not reliable and responsible. They couldn't give my valid ticket just hang up on me.

Cheap o air sucks . They messed up our flight dates .

They have no clue on what they are doing . All they do is sell sell sell tickets . And it seems hats all they care about.

Never again will I use them ever. Thiefs and up sellers is what they are ...

Paid for Seats, CheapO canceled them

We spent about $3K on airline tickets to Europe; it took 4 days for CheapO air to actually issue the tickets (unlike most places where you can select your seats right as you are making the res.). After many phone calls, I finally was able to log in to the airline websites and pick our seats. We had three legs (7 hour, 10 hour, 2 hour flights), and I wanted to sit next to my husband and not in the middle of the middle row among strangers on an international flight. I snagged some great seats, paid several hundred dollars for them, and thought we were good to go. Of course, this was until we get to the airport, where our boarding passes reflected that we were nowhere near each other on the plane... in those dreadful, awful middle seats. CheapO Air CANCELED the seats I had purchased and put in a request for "non smoking" seats. NON SMOKING. What is this, 1982? And when did I ever ask them to cancel my seats? Oh, that's right, I didn't. The whole reason I called them 72 times was so that I could pick where I would sit on the plane. Of course, I've been on hold for more than an hour already, and have had a chat window open for 15 minutes. These customer service reps are sure busy -- This place is A SCAM. DO NOT USE CHEAPOAIR.

Cheapoair never purchased airline tickets

Purchased vacation package from cheapoair, and after a week of calling airlines to find a seat assignment , I was told they never purchased the ticket, they charged my credit card the day I booked with them, their solution was a 2,000 up charge for my travel, when I asked them why they did not purchase my ticket, they said my card was declined, although I had the transaction number in my hand and told them so, I called them 5 times and sent numerous emails, now they offer full refund, international travel should not be trusted to them, I confirmed with other supplier, and got tickets immediately, but paid alot more due to shortness of travel arraignments,

Cheapoair - Return Date Change Review from Ottawa, Ontario

Wanted to change return date on a flight .. Was tolled to call after the trip is in motion by one person and when called back they wanted to charge me 4000.00 dollars to change a return date.. They forced me into buying new tickets for wife and 4 year old at a additional cos of 2800 with a 15hr layover.. It is unacceptable the customers service and no show of any sympathy that a 4 year old will be spending 15 hrs in a airport.. I purchased tickets worth 10k from these guys and they were not willing to give me any discounts on a mistake that was made..

Bait and switch airline tickets

I found a flight on Cheapoair that met my needs to get from Orange County to Philadelphia with one layover. Within minutes of making the reservation I received a call stating that there had been an error and that this flight was actually sold out, but that I could get on a very similar flight for a mere $49.00 plus tax additional. Of course I feared that if I did not do this the other flight options I had explored would be gone, so I paid the additional funds, knowing that the flight had likely been sold out long before it was posted! Unlike other sites I had used previously, I found I could not arrange a seat assignment through this site, I could only request an aisle or window and wait approximately 24 hours for them to get back to me with the seat selection. Of course, I had the option of 'upgrading' for a fee. I never received adequate boarding or flight information from this airline, and ultimately went direct to the carriers, who acted unsurprised when I advised how I had made my initial arrangements. AVOID THIS TRAVEL COMPANY AT ALL COST.

Multiple tricks to get money out of you

First, the advertised fares "aren't available any longer" once you try to confirm the fare. So you have to settle for the higher fare if you want to buy a ticket with them. After I booked, I received an email warning to verify that the flight itinerary's "connection times are short". You have a choice, to say not ok or ok. I verified the itinerary was ok with me. Then came the fun. I had to go through that verification again and again. It never seemed to register that I had ever answered their question, i.e. was the short connection time between flights okay. This went on for more than a day. The booking was still there, it still said that I had to confirm that the short connection flight was okay, and the tickets were never issued because my confirmation never seemed to register. I tried to use the online customer service to find out what was going on. I could never get an agent after waiting and waiting and waiting. Finally in disgust, I cancelled the booking (which I was told I could do without paying a fee). But guess what? I found a VERY QUICK $25 booking cancellation charged to my credit card. SCAMMED!

I just booked a ticket from Cheapoair: reference number 2167****, from Ho Chi Minh to Boston. I received the receipt and an email saying the verification process has been successful. HOWEVER, another email came saying, my card is declined! I contacted my bank and the bank confirmed the amount of $1187.78 has been deducted like what's on the receipt when I first bought it. I called Cheapoair and they said they didn't charge my card. IS THIS A SCAM??? I'm keeping all the emails and receipts. I hope it will be resolved.

Changed booked flight

The flight that I picked was changed during the booking process. I did not catch it until after I booked, my bad, but could not understand the customer service rep. when I tried to change/cancel the booking, finally canceled the flight after several minutes of confusing conversation. Also hung up on twice during the waiting process. Will refund my ticket price after a 25.00 fee and I have to wait 1-2 billing cycles for my refund, which is 7-14 days! Do not use this company! I believe the flight change was on purpose, and when you call they try to sell you a like flight for more money. Rip off!!

Ticket Purchase Review

Cheap air was excellent to work with ticket process went smooth the. Condor airlines however sent us up with 2 working bathrooms. Sardines are the only thing I have seen packed tighter. We ordered fruit and I was pucking before I got off the plane. I will not fly anything that has Thomas cooks name on it again and for you to have happy travels I suggest you don't either.
