I had significant problems with Cheapoair this summer. They issued a ticket in the wrong name. I had to buy new tickets on one airline and pay a service fee to change the name on another airline, adding over $600 to the cost of the trip.. Cheapoair assumed no responsibility, claiming it was all my fault which was not true. They actually have a link on their issues page to fix this problem which you pay a fee for, suggesting this happens often... Read more

My wife booked a flight to Seoul form Atlanta round trip. She broke her leg and had to change her return flight. She asked me to come over and assist her on the flight home. Explained this to agent, gave agent her booking number. He booked my flights and transferred me to another agent to change her flight. Cost was $472.00 to change. Customer service nightmare. Phone support pushed me to web. Email failed (bad address). No other email listed. Now what? Misleading advertising in prices and rewards program. AVOID.

I MADE 4 FLIGHTS VIA CHEPOAIR FROM DHAKA TO JFK NY. I SAW THERE WAS ONE STOP IN KUWAIT, WHICH WAS FINE. THERE WAS NOTHING ON THE ITINERARY STATING THERE WILL BE STOP TO LONDON THEN TO KUWAIT. I have to keep reviewing if requested seats assigned that were confirmed are the right seats requested. I made several calls to make corrections and to my disappointment most of the calls either have poor connections or personnel I am talking with just hang up or don't have that consideration or have the decency calling me back. I called to make a domestic flight in the US. I had been on the phone with another customer service agent about 20 minutes prior, who said I could either make it on the phone with her or do it myself online. We had unforeseeable problems with our reservation that we booked six months in advance. I have called customer service and they are absolutely unwilling to even attempt to help. I so far have spent well over eight hours on the phone trying to get assistance. I have been hung up on at least 15 times during this more than eight hours on the phone with them. Booked a 2 person round trip flight to the Caribbean. Received an e-mail 5 months later that the reservation was canceled. The agent in India could not offer an alternative regarding changing to another airline.Unwilling is more descriptive as I found a flight in 2 seconds while on hold. The flight was changed without notifications. I found out 12 days before leaving. Customer services kept transferring the call to a department where closed on Sunday. After 7-9 times calling for changing, no one could got a solution and kept transferring. Calling to main airlines, Virgin America, and they said the changed made from the airport so cheapoair must call them for waiving code in order to cancel the flight without charges. Then I...
