As a traveler, I used to book my trips directly with the airlines until a few months back, when I had a complicated International itinerary which none of the major carriers could help me with a decent fare as it involved several airlines and traveling to Seoul, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore & Melbourne.
After some web browsing at the major sites and still did not find what I was looking for, I discovered Cheapoair.com and I decided to give them a shot. To my surprise Customer service telephone number was boldly mentioned on their home page.
After a few minutes of hold time ( 5 mins to be exact ) I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted very professionally by Jim. I gave Jim my requirements and I asked him to work out the best deal for me. Jim advised me if I could hold for a few minutes or if I would like to be called back. I wanted to get the booking done as early as possible so I did not mind holding on to the phone. It took him maybe another 5-7mins to work out the itinerary ( Jim did come on in between to say he was still there, which was very re-assuring to know that I was not put on an eternal hold ).
I was sent the entire itinerary for my review under Cheapoair booking # 1124806 while I was holding and Jim was re-capping the details for me too, I was surprised when I asked for the price and it was about $ 1000 cheaper than the previous quotes. All this on the preferred carriers I can accumulate miles on !!!!
I have since purchased several more trips on Cheapoair.com ( some less complicated ) which I have booked directly on their site and if I encountered any issues I don’t fail to call on “ my Online Travel Agent “ – Jim for assistance.
I have and will continue to recommend Cheapoair.com to my friends and family.
Keep it up Jim and team at Cheapoair !!!!!!

| 1. Written by More FRAUD!!!, on 06-08-2009 17:42 Justin B. doesn't exist. And if he does, then his experience is atypical. I have never cycled through the phone queue in less than 15 minutes. My typical phone call takes over 30 minutes and upwards of 2 hours to get to any point of resolution. They don't process refunds, they attempt to charge fees for things (e.g., a name typeo) that most airlines and/or travel agencies don't charge for. They are by far the worst on-line travel company I have had the misfortune of working with. DO NOT USE CHEAPOAIR |
