My daughter recently took a trip to West Virginia and was to continue on to MD. The person she was going to see became ill and she had to change her travel.

She contacted Cheapoair to change her ticket. They quoted her an amount and she asked them to book the flight. When she arrived at the airport, she was told that the airlines had a reservation, but no ticket number. She called cheapoair in an attempt to correct the problem. They said they sent her an e-mail to let her know there was a problem. She was traveling, so she did not have access to her e-mail. She tried to explain that the airlines could place her on the flight and that she just needed the ticketing number. They refused to give her or the ticket agent the number. When she suggested she call her attorney, they hung up on her.

The agent at the ticket counter told her to never book with cheapoair. She said they have problems with them all the time. After she booked a flight direct with an airlines to get home, she discovered that others on the flight with her had the same issue with cheapoair.

She's still trying to get credit for her unused tickets. She will likely have to get an attorney before this is resolved. Don't be fooled by their cheap fares. Use a reliable source and check your e-mail!
